Delivering a technology enabled marketing or customer management project is complex. smartFOCUS has a proven business centric approach to delivery where information technology, people and process are all critical success factors. Our delivery methodology has been developed to minimise the risk to your business – we have done this a number of times now, with over 300 successful implementations across various sectors and system environments. From the start of the project to completion, our business and technical consultants will work with your people to ensure a smooth, timely and superior quality delivery - so there is no need to worry!


 

Our delivery process is structured into 4 key stages:

  • Project Initiation
  • Analysis & Design
  • Build & Deliver
  • Evaluate & Optimize
From day one our consultants work to identify your key business issues and concerns. By applying this knowledge we are able to design a marketing solution tailored to your precise needs. There is no fixed design – each solution is unique to each particular client. This said, through implementing over 300 solutions across the world we have learned how to deploy our solutions efficiently and effectively with minimal disruption to the business.

Early on in the project, it is often unclear exactly what the marketing solution needs to deliver. We work with our clients to enable them to scope out a suitable solution, which includes identifying key business and systems issues that have to be addressed by any subsequent project. The primary aim of this activity is to create a common vision and to provide you with a framework for a subsequent project.

During the Project Initiation stage we establish the project teams, agree the terms of reference, define roles and responsibilities and produce a Project Plan. Following this the Analysis and Design phase focuses on the development of the solution design, which is documented in the Business Requirements and Functional Specifications.


 

At the Build and Deliver stage you have a number of options. Clearly there are activities smartFOCUS needs to complete, but there are many others where you have choice. For example, if you do not have an operational marketing database, you can either build it yourself, we can do it for you or you may decide to choose to have a third party complete this part of the project. We will then implement our solution and work closely with any other associated application vendors, whose products need to run against the same marketing database. The Build and Deliver phase includes the development and deployment of a comprehensive training and support programme. We believe this is essential to ensure that you are equipped to realize the full business benefits of the system.

Evaluate and Optimize forms the final stage of the project where support structures and management processes between smartFOCUS and the client are mobilized.
